MCTM Webinar series: Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 5:30-6:30 A Right to Education: Teaching Maryland's Detained and Committed Youth Juvenile Services Education Program educates justice-involved youth throughout Maryland. To provide access to students from diverse backgrounds, JSEP created math curricula using the van Hiele model. This tiered approach advances learning by providing multiple entry points for lessons. MCTM Summer Elementary Academy - Now taking Registrations!
MCTM is once again holding its Virtual Summer Elementary Academy. This year's session runs from Monday June 23 - Friday June 27th. Each daily session runs from 9:00 AM - 4:00 pm.
Registration is currently available in the MCTM Store. Registration is $155 for MCTM members and $175 for MCTM non-members (that includes a one year membership to MCTM).

The Banneker Banner is the official journal of the Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics. The journal is named after Benjamin Banneker, a Maryland native and perhaps the first documented African-American mathematician. The Banner is published twice each year and contains a wide range of articles on issues in mathematics education at all levels.
