Sustaining Community: Finding Our Way Back to What Matters Most
The Maryland math teaching community has a long history of collaborating to foster best practices for teachers and students. Our mission for the 2024 Conference is that participants will experience the power of an in-person community to fuel an awakening of what matters most to them personally and professionally. The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics has identified essential elements of mathematics teaching and learning. The Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics builds off of these to promote accessible and equitable mathematics education in Maryland.
