Sustaining Community: Finding Our Way Back to What Matters Most
The Maryland math teaching community has a long history of collaborating to foster best practices for teachers and students. If I had to make a mission statement for math teachers in 4 words, it would be this: Love math. Love people. In this talk, we will discuss ways to show how math is beautiful and ways we can show students that they belong in the classroom.

Our program will offer a variety of session topics including content-focused sessions, instructional strategies, classroom assessment techniques, addressing the needs of learners, mathematics coaching and leadership for K-12 teachers as well as Math Educators from Maryland's Two- and Four-Year Colleges and Universities.
