The MCTM Conference is an opportunity for members of the math education community to meet face-to-face and share best practices for teaching and learning.
Conference Date: Friday, October 16, 2026
Deadline to submit proposals: June 30, 2026
Lead presenters notified: by August 1, 2026

Our program will offer a variety of session topics including content-focused sessions, instructional strategies, classroom assessment techniques, addressing the needs of learners, mathematics coaching and leadership for K-12 teachers as well as Math Educators from Maryland's Two- and Four-Year Colleges and Universities.

Call for Proposals

Classroom teachers, math coaches, administrators, math teacher educators, teachers-in-training, and math specialists are encouraged to reflect on this year's theme, From Standards to Student Success: Empowering Every Student for What’s Next, and submit a proposal to speak at this year's event. The deadline to submit your proposal is June 30, 2026. Lead presenters will be notified about the status of their proposal by August 1, 2026 and will be expected to accept their invitation to present and register to attend the conference no later than August 30, 2026.
